A creative duo from Sweden with more than 20 years of international experience.

Cecilia Dufils and Markus Bjurman

With strong conceptual thinking across all media their inspiration comes from their years at creative collectives such as Mother, KesselsKramer and Acne. Cissi and Markus are both Swedish but their eclectic influences and output echoe their international upbringing from London, Amsterdam and Paris.

They met at Beckman’s School of Design and immediately after graduating landed their first job at Mother London. In their decade at Mother they created award-winning work for Eurostar, Orange, Xelibri, Egg, Harvey Nichols and amongst many others. They also did a year-long stint at KesselsKramer in Amsterdam, with clients like the Hans Brinker Budget hotel and global fashion brand Diesel. In 2008 they moved back home to Sweden to work as creative directors at Scholz & Friends, McCann and the multi-disciplinary collective Acne.

In 2018, Cecilia decided to become freelance creative and opened her own business, while Markus went on to Ehrenstrahle DDB to become their executive creative director. Cecilia and Markus have picked up a Black Pencil at the D&AD Awards, Cannes Lions, The One Show, BTAA, Guldägget, Epica, ADCE Awards, Tribeca Film Festival, and many more.
